Social Daycare
$31/day
As low as $24.80 with 'Rec Pass'
Our social daycare pups get the best of both worlds: plenty of playtime indoors and out. From drop-off to pick-up, they’ll hang out with their favorite pals, exploring our spacious yards and making the most of every moment. Throughout the week, we mix things up with walks across all nine of our yards, giving them the chance to stretch their legs, chase a ball, and enjoy fresh scents every day brings.
Of course, playtime can be exhausting! That’s why we also provide quiet time in climate-controlled indoor spaces—perfect for recharging before the next adventure. Your dog will enjoy a well-balanced day packed with fun and relaxation!
Independent Daycare
$38/day
As low as $30.40 with 'Rec Pass'
Not every dog thrives in a big group, and that’s totally okay. Whether your dog struggles with social interactions or finds large playgroups overwhelming, they still deserve a fun daycare experience. That’s where our independent daycare program comes in!
These pups get personal attention from our team members, enjoying free roam in private yards (or on-leash, if that’s what works best). They’ll have plenty of one-on-one fun with their handler, creating special moments just for them. Got siblings who get along well? Bring them along—our duo groups always have a blast together!
-
How do I add-on enrichment to my dogs stay? When you're booking in the client portal (Gingr) you'll be able to add on any enrichment opportunities during the booking request process.
-
How often do the dogs get out to the yards? We split each day up into four to five rotations. Some are designated for post feeding. Others are designated playtime sessions in groups/pairs/solo play with a handler. Then in the evening, we have potty rotations so they can sleep soundly.
-
Is a crate safe for my dog? While we have other lodging options for guests, crates have been our personal choice method for our own dogs. Through Rescue & Training experience, we've learned these important attributes about crates: Safety and Security: A crate provides a safe and secure space for your dog. Especially when we're not around to supervise, like at night, or during a busy rotation period. It helps prevent accidents or injuries that could happen if your dog roams freely around the main-house. Den-Like Comfort: Dogs are naturally den animals. A crate mimics a cozy, den-like environment, offering a space where your dog can retreat to relax, feel safe, and reduce anxiety. Setting A Routine & Potty Training: Crates are a highly effective tool for creating a routine for their eating, sleeping, and potty habits. Dogs generally avoid things like soiling their sleeping areas, so a properly-sized crate encourages them to hold their bladder until they're let outside. Prevents Destructive Behavior: When dogs are left unsupervised, they might engage in destructive behavior like chewing on furniture or shoes. A crate helps prevent this by keeping your dog contained and focused on appropriate toys, Kong's, treats, or rest.
-
If my dog is in boarding will they get to join in on daycare? If your dog is already apart of our daycare program and or is a great play candidate; they'll be included in social play with other dogs. Below are the types of play we have at OPK. Types of play: - Solo play with a handler - Playgroups with daycare/boarding dogs - Play pairs, where small groups fit their play style
-
If I have more than one dog, can they sleep in the same space? For dogs 25 lbs and under, we can crate or kennel them together, allowing them to comfortably share any of our boarding spaces together. For our larger guests, we offer Pet Lodge Lux units, which comfortably accommodate two dogs up to 65 lbs each in the same space. For dogs over 65 lbs, we place the dogs in units next to one another. Allowing them to hear, smell, and, depending on the unit, see one another at all times. Regardless of the boarding setup, all dogs from the same family share rotation times unless the owner requests otherwise.
-
What belongings do I bring with my dog for their visit?Clients are required to supply any food/needed medication, and a collar. Your dog must be leashed upon arrival. We will use one of our loose leads to switch with your leash during drop-off. A general rule of thumb we have: don't bring anything you're not willing to get back! Our team is dedicated to returning any belongings back to you that we can. But something to keep in mind is, we have hundreds of leashes, towels, blankets, bowls, etc. Things can get lost in the mix quite easily.
-
Are all of your guests vaccinated? We do not confirm any booking, without proof for the following immunizations: - DHPP/DAPP - Bordetella - Rabies
-
Are my dogs supervised at night? In each room we have security cameras that our team monitors frequently. With motion/excessive sound detection notifications if anything arises. Additionally, someone sleeps in a trailer on-site.
-
If I sign up for updates, how often should I expect to get one?You will always get a photo & text update within 24 hours of drop-off for all boarding stays. Following the initial update, you'll get a message every other day of your dogs stay. You're more than welcome to message at anytime, and our team will respond as quickly as possible! Please note: We do not send updates for any stay that is less than 24 hours. If you're in our daycare program and would like an update, please let us know! Or ask our staff at pick up how your dog did. We pay very close attention to each guest and are team is always happy to brag about your dog!
-
Do you take dogs that have behavioral issues?Dogs who have behavioral issues are welcomed at OPK. We do require meet & greets for dogs who need more specialized care. That way we can better understand the scope of the need, and ensure it's the correct fit. To schedule a meet & greet, please email: info@orchardpointkennel.com
-
Can I leave my dog for one night to test out your facility?Absolutely! Leaving your dog somewhere new can feel nerve-wracking, but rest assured, your pup will be in great hands—think of us as the fun aunt or uncle with all the cool toys. Just like kids benefit from social experiences, dogs thrive by learning how to interact and make friends. A one-night stay is a great way to introduce them to their new extended family here.
-
Do you take unaltered dogs?We have no problem with unaltered dogs joining us at OPK! But owners must note, this may limit their social opportunities.
-
Do you offer tours of your facility?Absolutely! We welcome your dogs and any family that'd like to tag along. Our tours are appointment based so please reach out so we can get you on the calendar. Phone: 541-255-6040 Email: info@orchardpointkennel.com
-
Do you charge per day or per night? All of our daycare and boarding services are billed per calendar day. The only exception is for boarding—if you pick up by 10 AM on the final day of your stay, you won’t be charged for that day.
